For our anniversary we went to Park City to CELEBRATE! It was a blast! We went to amazing places for lunch and dinner and were really spendy on our pop-tarts for breakfast. Yum! I should have taken more pictures… for being a photographer I suck at remembering to bring my camera.
First, we of course went shopping at Tanger Outlets… My favorite place to shop. We hit Banana Republic first, like always, and most of my budget was spent there 🙂 Then we went to a bunch of other stores, none nearly as great as Banana.
After that we went to the Bridge Cafe and Grill and ate some fantastic food. They have the BEST hot chocolate in Park City, possibly the world, but I’m not 100% sure about that…. I guess I’ll have to try some more to make sure…MMMM. Anyway then we got stuck in snow so we spent an unruly amount of money on new tires that saved our lives so that, my friend, is money well spent 🙂
After two hours of waiting for the tires we went back to the hotel and watched Duck Dynasty and Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. And then for dinner we order Chinese food from A Wok Away… and Speedy Rodriquez, who is very speedy, brought it right to our hotel room! It was great. After that delicious dinner we watched The Amazing Spider Man… This time I didn’t cry twice during it, but man I love that movie
The next day we woke up around eight, and then I went back to sleep while Nate played Assassins Creed. The plan was to just hang out all day, but we had to return a couple things we’d bought the day before and get Amanda a birthday present, so we took off to Tanger again. I looked for some boots as well because I looked SUPER stylish with socks with my flats in the snow because my feet were FREEZING. No luck finding boots though 🙁 If you know of any good, cute black boots that zip up the side and are well, cute, let me know! 🙂
Anyway then we watched Casino Royale… My first EVER James Bond movie. It was great might I add. We also watched more Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives. And for dinner we decided that we’d go to Ruby Tuesday… Which is right by tanger, So Naturally we ended up there again 🙂
The next day was Sunday… Time to come home. Nate scraped about two feet of snow off our car and then we made the treacherous journey through Parley’s canyon to home. This is one of the times our tires saved our lives. The road was TERRIBLE, and the snow was crazy! But we made it with out spinning out or anything hahaha that made me happy!
To top off our fun weekend we celebrated Amanda’s Birthday with family and then watched The Walking Dead with the Blaser’s. Then on Monday we went snow boarding at the Rail Gardens! What a blast! It was my second time snow boarding and well… I have a LOT to learn. Nate is still wonderful even though he’s only been three times in the last five years… that kid has talent. Anyway that was our great weekend celebrating our anniversary. Yay for two years! 🙂
